UW-Whitewater Announces 2022 Geneva Graduate

Abigail Rago from Geneva, Illinois, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater as part of the Spring 2022 intake. Rago graduated Magna Cum Laude with the following degree: Music – BM

More than 1,530 students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas at ceremonies this semester – held May 14 at the Whitewater campus and May 17 at the Rock County campus.

The class included 11 international students, 71 military veterans and 200 non-traditional students, defined as undergraduate students aged 25 or older. In addition, 194 students who self-identified as disabled graduated.

The University of Miami awarded degrees to several Geneva students in early spring.

  • Lauren Albrecht of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Kinesiology & Health, majoring in Kinesiology, Nutrition
  • Mary Duke of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Magna Cum Laude, with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Professional Writing
  • Emily Johnson of Geneva, IL (60134) Magna Cum Laude graduate, University Honors with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Data Science and Statistics, Neuroscience
  • Andre Martinez of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology

Geneva student on John Carroll University’s Spring 2022 Dean’s List

Daniel Atkinsonfrom Geneva, graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in the spring of 2022. Atkinson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering with honors.

Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher are listed as having graduated with “High Honors”. Undergraduates with a cumulative GPA between 3.20 and 3.69 are listed as having graduated with “honours.”

Geneva students rewarded by Georgia Tech faculty

Sean Chalmers of Geneva, IL, earned Faculty Honors distinction for Spring 2022 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have achieved a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Geneva student wins full academic honors for UW-Whitewater athletics

Katie McNamaraa native of Geneva, Illinois, and a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater track and field program, is one of 14 Warhawks who have been named All-Academic by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2022 season.

Millikin University Names Geneva Students to Spring Dean’s List

Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of outstanding undergraduate students who have been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester.

Students who attempt 12 graded credits in a fall or spring semester and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean’s List honors. Students earning a perfect grade point average of 4.00 over 12 graded credits attempted to earn high dean’s list honors.

Students appointed to dean’s list at Millikin University are listed alphabetically by last name.

Augustana College Announces 2022 Graduates

Augustana College held its commencement ceremony on May 22. US Senator Dick Durbin delivered the speech. The promotion amounted to 508.

Graduates received guidance from Senator Durbin, who reflected on the resilience and hard work of this year’s graduates and commended Augustana’s commitment to preparing the next generation of peacemakers and problem solvers. .

Among the graduates who participated in the ceremony:
