KING’S X signs with InsideOutMusic/Sony Music; Work on first album in 14 years complete; Tour dates announced


The legendary King’s X, consisting of dUg Pinnick, Ty Tabor and Jerry Gaskill, is pleased to announce that he has signed with InsideOutMusic/Sony Music worldwide. They will be the house label for the band’s upcoming 13th studio album and the first new music in 14 years, which has just been completed. The long-awaited new record will see the light of day on September 2.

Thomas Waber, head of label InsideOutMusic, adds: “We’ve known the guys forever and we’ve been fans before that. We are really looking forward to adding another album to their impressive legacy. Working on a King’s X album is always a highlight and an honor!

The band’s next new album saw them working with Emmy Award-winning engineer, mixer and producer Michael Parnin (Rage Against The Machine, Mark Lanegan) at his Blacksound Studio in California.

He comments, “I’m very proud of the energy and work put into this album, especially all the different vocal performances and varied musical influences blended into one. Like King’s X, we had several hurdles to overcome, and it was It’s not easy, but I hope it’s worth it for the amazing die-hard fans who have waited so patiently and for new listeners hearing King’s X for the first time. an honest labor of love that I’m thrilled the world can finally listen to.”
