This is what makes the Jaguar E-Type the ultimate collector’s car

The Jaguar E-Type, known as the XK-E in the North American market, is by far one of the most beautiful cars of all time. Enzo Ferrari called the Jaguar E-Type “the most beautiful car ever made”. Later, in 2004, Sports Car International magazine ranked the E-Type as the first car on its list of The best sports cars of the 1960s. But it’s not just Ferrari and industry experts who have recognized the appeal of this stunning vehicle. In fact, some of the most distinguished people and celebrities have driven this beauty. From A-listers like Steve McQueen, Brigitte Bardot, Frank Sinatra and Mick Jagger to aristocrats and royals like the Duke of Kent and Princess Grace, everyone loved this car. But who could blame them, considering that it was not only a beautiful vehicle, but also extremely powerful?

The original 3.8-liter E-Type delivered 265 horsepower and could accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than seven seconds. And if that wasn’t enough, it also reached a top speed of 150 miles per hour.
